AntennaPod 3.4.0 released with major performance boosts and several new features

AntennaPod, a free and open-source podcast manager for Android, has released version 3.4.0, marking the culmination of a three-year effort to modernize its code structure, and make it ready for new contributors.

This update brings significant performance and efficiency enhancements, including faster refreshing of subscriptions for podcasts with over a thousand episodes and up to 10 times faster podcast deletion.

New features include the ability to add a sleep timer button to notifications, automatic database backups, configurable skip silence settings per subscription, as well as a way to reorder home screen sections. Additionally, various bug fixes improve the overall stability and usability of the application.
