Trump's Truth Social to launch Live TV Streaming feature, focusing on 'suppressed content'
Donald Trump's Social media platform, Truth Social, is preparing to launch a live TV streaming feature, with a focus on news networks, religious channels, and content that has been suppressed on other platforms. The platform will also include family-friendly content such as films and documentaries.
The launch will be executed in three stages. The initial phase will introduce Truth Social's Content Delivery Network (CDN) for streaming on Android, iOS, and web platforms. The second phase will roll out over-the-top (OTT) streaming apps for various devices like phones and tablets. The final stage will see the launch of a streaming app specifically tailored for TVs.
Trump Media & Technology Group (TMTG) has completed six months of testing on web and iOS platforms, concluding the research and development phase. TMTG's CEO, Devin Nunes, is excited about progressing to the next phase, aiming to offer a permanent platform for "quality news and entertainment that has been discriminated against on other platforms".
