StabilityAI opens its nextgen text-to-image generator, StableDiffusion 3 API to developers

Just a couple of months ago, Stability AI unveiled its next-gen text-to-image generator, Stable Diffusion 3, which is currently in preview, and the company has now made the model accessible to developers through its Developer Platform via API. Stable Diffusion 3 is designed to surpass competitors like OpenAI's DALL-E 3 and Midjourney v6 in typography and prompt adherence, supported by the Multimodal Diffusion Transformer architecture for improved text comprehension and spelling.

Stability AI is collaborating with Fireworks AI to provide integrated solutions for businesses interested in using both models. Additionally, Stability AI intends to store model weights on its servers through a membership system soon.

Along with this, Stability AI has launched a new content creation platform, Stable Assistant Beta, featuring Stable Diffusion 3 and other models. Subscribers can use chatbots to generate images, compose content, or match photos with text, although early access to the platform is currently limited.
