Former Google DeepMind researchers launched Udio, an impressive AI Music Generation tool
Uncharted Labs, a startup by former Google DeepMind researchers, has introduced an AI-based music creation tool, Udio, which is quickly garnering attention as one of the top AI Music Generation tools right now thanks to its impressive results. The tool allows users to generate high-quality music in multiple languages and genres using text prompts, offering clear vocals, distinct music separation, and detailed lyrics, catering to styles like gospel, rock, blues, pop, electronic music, hip hop, and more.
The interface facilitates customization by enabling users to type descriptions of their desired compositions, which can range from simply specifying the desired genre and theme to providing detailed lyrics or voice style. Users can further personalize their tracks using tags such as "bright", "vibrant", "corporate" or "cozy". User also have options to extend track duration beyond the default 30 seconds.
Currently, Udio is available as a free beta product, allowing users to generate up to 1200 songs per month. However, as it is still in development, users may encounter some bugs or typical AI allucionations (although I have to say, the results I've gotten are pretty impressive). Udio emerges as a truly intriguing alternative to other AI Music Generation tools like Boomy, Stable Audio, or its more direct competitor, Suno AI
