Disney+ debuts a new logo and integrates Hulu content, offering joint subs in the US

Disney+ now offers Hulu content library directly within its app for US subscribers. This development follows an open beta test initiated in December 2023. Although Hulu and Disney+ continue to function as separate apps, a joint subscription starting at $9.99/month with ads, and $19.99/month without ads, is now available. The premium subscription also allows for offline viewing on mobile devices.

Hulu's content, which was previously only available in the Hulu hub during the beta phase, is now fully integrated into Disney+ recommendations, sets, and collections. Coinciding with this integration, Disney+ has undergone a visual transformation, adopting a new "Aurora" logo color, closely resembling Hulu's green.

This news comes months after the company announced its strategy on password sharing crackdown, following in the footsteps of Netflix. This policy will also be extended to Hulu and ESPN+ users.
