The Browser Company enhances Arc with AI-driven features for search queries and bookmarks

The Browser Company is incorporating new AI-driven features into its Arc Browser, following the recent launch of its Arc Search mobile app.

New features include "Instant Links," which uses AI to produce bookmarks directly from search queries, eliminating the need for a typical search engine like Google Search. Users can ask for specific content, and Arc's AI bot will open the link as a tab in the sidebar. Another feature, "Live Folders," will debut in beta and provide a live stream of data from various sources, allowing users to receive real-time updates like new articles from an RSS feed or notifications when a favorite creator releases a new video.

There is also the Arc Explore function, which operates similarly to Arc Search on mobile, using AI to create a customized webpage with information on any searched topic, automating the browsing process and summarizing information with relevant links. These updates aim to simplify internet usage by reducing multi-step actions and making browsing 'more intuitive' through a strong reliance on AI features. You can know more about the company's vision and the new features from its 'Act II' update here.
