KeePass 2.56 has been released with new search box and improved history
KeePass, a widely-used free and open-source password manager, has unveiled its latest version, 2.56. This update includes enhancements to both the user interface and integration, as well as a variety of minor new features and improvements.
One addition in KeePass 2.56 is a search box in the options' dialog, which simplifies navigation for users. It also introduces a Ctrl+A keyboard shortcut for the 'Select All Historic Entries' command in the entry dialog, providing a faster way to select all records.
KeePass 2.56 introduces a workaround for the Mono window size bug. Additionally, an accessibility help page is now available, expanding the software's support resources.
KeePass 2.56 also introduces a 'More' button on the 'History' tab page of the entry dialog. This button unveils a menu with two new commands: 'Select All Historic Entries' and 'Delete All Historic Entries'. The same menu is also available as a context menu of the history entries list.
In this new version, pressing the Enter key in the group tree of the main window now displays the entries of the group. This feature enhances the user's ease of access to their stored information.
Alongside these updates, KeePass 2.56 also incorporates many other minor improvements and bug fixes, further enhancing the overall user experience and software performance.
