Arc introduces new AI-powered 'pinch-to-summarize' feature for swift webpage summaries

Arc Browser has introduced an AI-powered feature, "pinch-to-summarize," to its mobile app, Arc Search. This new feature enables users to create summarized versions of web pages by pinching their mobile screens. The pinching action triggers a folding animation of the webpage, paired with haptic feedback, as the AI creates a brief summary of the content.

The goal of this feature is to provide users with a swift and easy way to comprehend the main points of a webpage. However, like other AI tools, it may have potential limitations such as omitting or altering key information from the original page.

The pinch-to-summarize feature is available on the latest version of Arc Search on iOS devices and can be accessed directly from the browser interface. Arc has also enhanced its "Browse for me" AI-powered search feature, allowing users to share search results pages and click on the links within these pages.
