Qt Creator 15 launches with new themes, Axivion plugin, and enhanced Git integration

Qt Creator 15 has been launched as the latest stable version of the open-source and cross-platform integrated development environment (IDE), compatible with GNU/Linux, macOS, and Windows. This update brings a visual refresh with new light and dark themes that offer higher contrast and optimized spacing, which can be toggled in the preferences.

The enhanced Extensions Mode now supports Markdown, enabling developers to view detailed descriptions of extensions. Additionally, the release introduces official Axivion plugin support for integrated code analysis in Debug mode, featuring sortable columns and path mapping. Developers can also use an interactive Lua shell for scripting, accessible via the Tools menu.

Further improvements include automatic crash reporting using Google Crashpad and Sentry to enhance stability monitoring. CMake improvements include support for the FOLDER property of targets and a new option for custom build configurations. Git integration has been enhanced with new features to streamline version control.
