Obsidian 1.8.0 early access release

Obsidian has launched its 1.8.0 early access version for Catalyst members, bringing notable features to both desktop and mobile apps. The update introduces a new web viewer plugin, disabled by default, that allows external links to be opened within the application for streamlined research. It also includes a new command to download all externally embedded images and replace the external links with internal embeds. Finally, for mobile users, improvements to iCloud ensure smoother syncing, with offloaded configuration files prompting an app reload once synced.
