FL Studio 2024.2 launches with new relooping Transporter plugin, scalable plugins and more
FL Studio has launched its latest update, version 2024.2, which is available for free to existing users. This update introduces the new Transporter plugin, designed to enhance live performances and experimental sound design with real-time relooping and dynamic audio effects. It also improves sound swapping capabilities with FL Cloud, allowing for seamless integration with the Channel Rack and sample-based plugins like FPC, Edison, and Wave Traveller.
The Piano Roll now features Ghost Notes from other patterns, simplifying groove and melody creation. Additionally, over 30 native plugins have been upgraded with real-time scalable interfaces, supporting resolutions up to 8K for enhanced visuals. FL Cloud Pro expands the FLEX library with over 4000 presets, while Low Latency Mode enhances recording by disabling Plugin Delay Compensation for smoother performance.
Project management is also streamlined with automatic stem naming, Tap Tempo improvements, and MIDI snapping to Piano Roll scales. LuxeVerb offers greater control with options to disable Limiter and Saturation, MacOS users get a revamped searchable menu, and the Browser now displays all project samples for easier access.
