Black Forest Labs has introduced FLUX.1 Tools, a new suite of models aimed at improving control and steerability within their FLUX.2 text-to-image framework. These tools are part of the FLUX.1 [dev] series for open access and are also available via the BFL API as FLUX.1 [pro], catering to both researchers and industry professionals.
Key features include FLUX.1 Fill, which offers advanced inpainting and outpainting functionalities using text descriptions and binary masks for image editing. FLUX.1 Depth utilizes depth maps from input images alongside text prompts for structural modifications, while FLUX.1 Canny uses canny edge maps for detailed image transformations. FLUX.1 Redux serves as an adapter tool for blending and recreating images and text prompts.
FLUX.1 Tools will be distributed via partner platforms such as fal, Replicate, Freepik, and KREA AI, broadening accessibility for various user groups.
