Photomator 3.4 brings flags, star ratings, and filters for efficient photo management

Photomator 3.4 has been released, bringing new organizational tools to its photo library management across Mac, iPhone, and iPad. Users can now utilize flags and star ratings to efficiently sort and manage photos, including large-scale photoshoots, by marking favorites or rejecting unwanted images. These features are accessible directly in the browser or filmstrip, accommodating various photo culling workflows.

The update also enhances the Mac experience with advanced filtering options, allowing users to sort photos by file type, flag, star rating, file name, and editing status. On macOS Sequoia, additional filters by date and location are available. These options are easily accessible in the toolbar and filmstrip.

Photomator 3.4 also introduces the ability to sync flags and ratings with other photo editing applications, such as Adobe Lightroom. This sync is facilitated through image metadata or XMP files, enabling seamless import and export of photo libraries while maintaining organizational tags across platforms.
