The update also includes software updates for desktop environments, with GNOME 47.1 and KDE Plasma 6.2.1, complemented by KDE Gear 24.08.2. Additional software updates feature LibreSSL 4.0, BIND 9.20.3, XZ Utils 5.6.3, Qt 6.8.0, NetworkManager 1.50.0, and CUPS 2.4.11.

A significant visual overhaul accompanies this update, introducing a revamped Tumbleweed logo and new wallpapers with both day and night themed variants. Furthermore, the update addresses various critical vulnerabilities and exposures (CVEs), particularly in Firefox, OpenSSL, QEMU, and VirtualBox packages, enhancing system security.
