ChatGPT finally comes to Windows in early version for Plus, Enterprise, Team and Edu users
OpenAI has introduced an early version of the Windows desktop app for ChatGPT, now available for testing by ChatGPT Plus, Enterprise, Team, and Edu users. Previously accessible on iOS, Android, and macOS, this Windows app fulfills a popular demand among users. The app allows for faster access to ChatGPT on PCs using the Alt + Space keyboard shortcut.
This initial release is part of OpenAI's plan to extend the full desktop experience to all users later this year. The Windows app supports chatting about files and photos and incorporates the latest model improvements, including the OpenAI o1-preview model.
