Android 15 launches on Pixel devices with theft protection, Private Space, and app pairing

Google has announced the rollout of Android 15 for Pixel devices, featuring enhanced security measures and productivity tools. New security features include the Theft Detection Lock, which uses AI to automatically secure your device if it detects suspicious movement, and Remote Lock, enabling users to lock their device remotely using their phone number.

Android 15 introduces a Private Space, allowing users to create a separate, secure environment for sensitive apps, keeping them hidden when not in use. For large-screen devices, improvements include the ability to pin and unpin the taskbar on foldables and tablets, facilitating a customizable layout. App pairing is now available, allowing users to open and switch between paired apps seamlessly, with the option to save frequently used combinations as a single app icon.

Additionally, Android 15 brings updates to various apps, including camera, messaging, and passkeys, enhancing overall functionality and user experience.
