Shortwave Email Client launches new AI features for instant summaries, AI-Writing and more

The innovated email client Shortwave is adding a variety of new AI features, including instant email summaries, a writing assistant, AI autocomplete, multi-select AI actions, and new AI features for iOS and Android.

The updated email client now offers an AI autocomplete feature for longer sentences completion based on the email/thread content, and user writing style (available to only Pro and Business plan users), as well as an instant summary feature that automatically provides a one-sentence summary of an email or thread, with the option for a more detailed summary upon tapping. There's also a new AI multiselect feature, allowing users to select multiple email threads and inquire about them.

The AI-powered Assistant from the desktop version for drafting emails, conducting web searches, and answering questions related to active email thread, will also be accessible on iOS and Android apps. All these features will be released soon, with detailed information available on the official blog.
