Kagi search engine introduces 'Quick Peek' widget, GPT4-vision model, and more
Kagi, the ad-free and premium search engine, has recently unveiled a series of upgrades to enhance user experience. Among these is the introduction of a 'Quick Peek' widget to its search results. This feature provides users with additional relevant results related to their search query.
The company has also expanded its sources for local businesses in its inline maps search results. This enhancement aims to deliver more responsive results when users search for specific local businesses, offering a more streamlined search experience.
In a nod to Internet history, Kagi has incorporated a new Usenet/Archive search lens. This update allows users to uncover hidden treasures from the early days of the web, providing a unique browsing experience.
Kagi has also updated its Kagi Assistant, currently in open beta for Ultimate members. The assistant now uses the GPT4-vision model to better understand and describe images. Users can test this enhanced functionality by uploading images or providing image URLs for the Kagi Assistant to analyze.
