Tinder has launched a $499 monthly premium plan called 'Tinder Select' for exclusive users

In April of this year, we had discussed that Tinder was considering a new $500 per month ultra-premium subscription, and just a couple of days ago, the dating platform launched this new premium subscription under the name "Tinder Select," priced at exactly $499 per month. This exclusive membership provides benefits such as enhanced visibility and access to Tinder's top profiles. The product was developed following Match Group's acquisition of The League, a premium dating app.

Tinder Select offers unique features to less than 1% of its users. Members can display a SELECT badge on their profiles and send direct messages without matching, limited to two messages weekly. They cannot send a Super Like simultaneously, and recipients can choose not to receive DMs from Select members. Their profiles are shown unblurred in the Like You grid for up to seven days, even without Gold or Platinum subscriptions.

Tinder Select aims to connect users with top profiles for superior matches, though the algorithm specifics are undisclosed. Select members also receive early access to new features, ad-hiding capabilities, and a record of their sent Likes from the last seven days. The subscription can be combined with Plus, Gold, or Platinum subscriptions for extra features. To apply, users must meet certain criteria, including having at least four photos, five interests, a minimum 15-character bio, and photo-verification. Approved users will receive an in-app notification and a unique unlock code via email.
