Microsoft extends availability of AI-Powered Design Tool to Android and iOS platforms

Microsoft has expanded the availability of its AI-powered design tool, Microsoft Designer, to Android and iOS platforms. The beta version of the tool, initially released as a web and Windows platform in October 2022 and freed from its waitlist in April of this year, was announced on X, with Microsoft encouraging users to test it out.

The tool, which was integrated into Microsoft's Edge browser by August 2023, enables users to create graphic art designs with ease. Users input text prompts and the generative AI assists in the content creation process, making it possible to create a range of digital assets such as blog posts, websites, and digital postcards.

The mobile version of Microsoft Designer simplifies content creation and sharing on social media platforms, allowing users to share their creations with a single tap. Users with a Microsoft account can access the beta version of Microsoft Designer for free, providing a convenient and robust design alternative to platforms like Canva or Adobe Express.
