Spring Framework 6.1 released with enhanced compatibility with Virtual Threads and JDK 21
Spring Framework, a comprehensive programming and configuration model for Java-based enterprise applications, has announced the release of its 6.1 version. This latest version showcases general compatibility with virtual threads and JDK 21, the latter of which was released just yesterday.
The 6.1 update of the Spring Framework also introduces configuration options for virtual threads. This comes in addition to built-in method validation support for controller method parameters with @Constraint annotations, a feature available for both Spring MVC and WebFlux.
The new release also includes a host of other improvements and bug fixes, further enhancing the functionality and reliability of the Java framework.
