Bitwarden introduces Secrets Manager: an encrypted solution for managing your development secrets
Bitwarden has unveiled the Bitwarden Secrets Manager, an end-to-end encrypted solution designed to aid development teams in securely managing, automating, and sharing secrets on a large scale. The developer-centric solution offers end-to-end encrypted security and the capacity to store an unlimited number of secrets such as database passwords, API keys, authentication certificates, and other sensitive information used throughout the development process.
The Bitwarden Secrets Manager is designed to safeguard these privileged credentials and their corresponding ecosystems from unauthorized access and cyberattacks, thereby enhancing the security posture of development teams. Furthermore, by providing a single secure repository for developer secrets, Bitwarden Secrets Manager mitigates the impact of secret sprawl within organizations.
Bitwarden has expressed a commitment to ongoing innovation and intends to further refine the Secrets Manager to align with the changing requirements of development teams.

Interesting, i suppose it could be nice for projects that use various different cloud providers and our self-hosted solutions. But it feels more natural to store these things as close to your hosting as possible, i.e if you use Amazona it feels natural to use their solution.
