Amazon Music Unlimited announces price hike for Prime subscribers

Amazon Prime subscribers are about to experience a price increase for Amazon Music Unlimited with the monthly cost rising from $8.99 to $9.99 and the annual plan increasing from $89 to $99. The Family Plan will also see a price shift, with the monthly cost moving from $15.99 to $16.99 and the annual cost from $159 to $169. These new prices will be effective immediately for new customers, while existing customers will see the changes after September 19.

This is the second price adjustment for Amazon Music Unlimited this year, which occurred in January and affected subscribers who do not also use Amazon Prime. The annual price of Prime was also increased in February 2022. Over the past several months, several music services have also raised their prices, including Apple Music, Spotify, YouTube Premium, and Tidal.
