OpenRGB launches version 0.9 with Segments support and expanded device compatibility

OpenRGB, an open-source RGB lighting control software, has recently launched version 0.9. This software, compatible with both Windows, macOS and Linux, enables users to govern all their RGB devices from one application, without relying on manufacturer software.

With the release of version 0.9, OpenRGB has introduced new features, expanded device compatibility, and remedied various bugs. One of the notable features of this update is the Segments support. This feature enables users to divide addressable LED zones into multiple segments, each of which can be independently controlled.

In addition, version 0.9 introduces the Keyboard Layout Manager. This back-end feature simplifies the development of keyboard integrations and the management of multiple regional layouts.

Furthermore, OpenRGB 0.9 has expanded its device support, now accommodating many new GPUs amongst other devices. The software also includes additional translations, as well as a range of bug fixes and improvements.
