OpenAI launches ChatGPT App for Android users: now available in multiple countries

OpenAI has launched a dedicated ChatGPT app for Android users, following the iOS version of the app in May.

It is now available for download from the Google Play Store and is compatible with any device running on Android 6.0 or above. Users must create an account and verify their phone number to use the app. The app uses AI technology based on ChatGPT 3.5 and allows users to modify certain settings such as default language, disabling chat history and Training under Data Controls.

Currently, the app is accessible for download in several countries. These include Argentina, Bangladesh, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Japan, Mexico, Nigeria, the Philippines, South Korea, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
