Friday the 13th: The game to be delisted in 2023
Gun Interactive, the developer behind the popular asymmetrical multiplayer survival horror game Friday the 13th: The Game, has announced that the game will be delisted and will no longer be available for purchase after December 31, 2023. The expiration of the game's license means that it will no longer be accessible in any form. However, existing players who already own the game will still be able to enjoy it until at least December 31, 2024, this means that players will have one year to play from the official delisting of the game from stores.
To celebrate the game's final months, Gun Interactive has reduced the price of the base game to a mere $5, with each downloadable content available for an additional $1 until the delisting date. With Friday the 13th: The Game coming to an end, Gun Interactive is now turning its attention to its next project, an asymmetrical multiplayer survival game based on The Texas Chain Saw Massacre. The highly anticipated adaptation is scheduled to be officially released on August 18.
As the days tick away leading up to the delisting of Friday the 13th: The Game, players can treasure the remaining time they have with the game while eagerly anticipating Gun Interactive's upcoming adaptation of The Texas Chain Saw Massacre. Alternatively, they can also try their hand at other renowned horror experience games such as Dead by Daylight or Evil Dead: The Game.
