OpenAI's ChatGPT platform introduces Web Browsing and Plugins for improved efficiency and versatility
OpenAI has just announced that it is rolling out web browsing and plugins to all ChatGPT Plus users. This comes just a few weeks after the initial support for plugins was implemented in the platform.
Moving from alpha to beta, these new features will allow ChatGPT to access the internet and use over 70 third-party plugins. OpenAI has made these features accessible through a new beta panel in the settings of the platform. Once the beta panel is rolled out to users, they will be able to try two new features: web browsing and plugins.

The web browsing feature enables ChatGPT to browse the internet and answer questions about recent topics and events. This feature is expected to make the platform more efficient and effective in answering questions. On the other hand, the plugins feature allows ChatGPT to use third-party plugins that users enable. This feature is expected to enhance the functionality of the platform and make it more versatile.
In addition to the beta panel, OpenAI has also given users the option to continue generating a message beyond the maximum token limit. However, each continuation will count towards the message allowance.
