KeePassXC 2.7.5 released with improved performance and new features
KeePassXC, a popular free and open source password manager, has released version 2.7.5 with a range of bug fixes and performance improvements.
The new version of KeePassXC has fixed three crashes that were found with the support of active community members. Additionally, several areas in the code that were causing significant slow-downs when databases had more than a thousand entries have been fixed.
This release also brings various popular feature requests, including a menu option to temporarily allow screen capture on both Windows and macOS. The HTML export has an improved layout, and the KeePassXC logos and icons have also been improved. The max TOTP step has also been increased to 24 hours.
KeePassXC is based on the KeePass password manager and is a popular choice for users who want to keep their passwords secure. The open source nature of the software means that it can be audited by anyone, and any vulnerabilities can be quickly identified and fixed.
