Instapaper releases CarPlay app with advanced Text-to-Speech technology for listening to saved articles on the go
Instapaper, the popular read-it-later service, has released a new Apple CarPlay app that allows users to listen to saved articles while driving. With the app, users can access their saved articles and have them read out loud using Instapaper’s advanced text-to-speech technology. The app is available to both free and premium Instapaper users, with premium subscribers having access to additional features such as the ability to create custom playlists of articles to listen to.
The updated text-to-speech feature now includes support for multiple voices to choose from, offering users a more personalized listening experience. Additionally, users can now edit article titles and descriptions within the app, providing a way to add their own context to the articles they save.
The CarPlay app is seamlessly integrated with the Instapaper app, automatically detecting custom playlists created by users. Users can access their playlists from the top right of the Now Playing screen on CarPlay, making it easy to navigate and enjoy their saved articles while on the road. The app is available for free download on the App Store, and the company is currently offering a free month of Instapaper Premium to users who want to try out the new features.
