Red Dead Redemption 2 broken by Windows 11 Update, a fix has just arrived

The March 2023 optional preview update, KB5023774, for Windows 11 21H2 has been causing issues with the game Red Dead Redemption 2.

Users that have this particular update have reported that the game does not launch: when they press the Play button in the Rockstar Game Launcher, the game might not open and the button will revert to 'Play'.

In response, Rockstar, the company behind Red Dead Redemption 2, has published a fix with the version 1.0.71.1428 of its Games Launcher. The update is now available for download on their website and players can finally play their RDR2 again.
