Pixelmator Photo has been renamed to Photomator, adds AI features, and is coming to Mac
Pixelmator Photo, the popular photo editing app for iPad and iPhone (and soon Mac), has been renamed to Photomator. The new name reflects the app's evolution and its focus on delivering powerful and intuitive photo editing tools to users.
With the new name comes a new update, which brings a ton of fantastic new features, changes, and improvements. The most exciting addition is an all-new and incredibly powerful selective adjustments feature that will completely change the way you edit photos in Photomator.
From now on, you can easily select and edit specific areas of a photo using a variety of selections and masks, and even make selections automatically, using AI. This feature is perfect for making targeted adjustments to your photos, such as enhancing the color of a particular object, adjusting the exposure of a specific area, or adding a filter to a particular part of the image.
In addition, the update introduces a new and improved interface, making it easier and more intuitive to navigate and use the app. The new interface is designed to help users focus on their photos and the editing tools, without any distractions.
For those of you who have been eagerly waiting — Photomator for Mac is almost, almost here, and it's now available in beta in Apple's TestFlight program.
