Google Releases April 2023 Android Security Bulletin, Including 69 Security Issues

Google released its April 2023 Android Security Bulletin earlier today, which includes a total of 69 different security issues. 10 vulnerabilities are addressed in Framework, 16 in Android System, 8 in Qualcomm Component, 7 in MediaTek, 2 in Kernel and 2 in the Google Play system update. These include 5 Critical vulnerabilities, 46 High and 1 rated as Moderate. Samsung has already published additional information regarding the bulletin on its website, with further 23 Samsung-specific vulnerabilities. All Android users are advised apply the necessary updates to their devices, even if some devices may take days or weeks to receive security updates.
