Docker is no longer sunsetting its Free Team Plan
Twelve days ago, Docker had announced that it was going to sunset its Free Team Plan, and that users had one month to convert to a paid plan or risked losing access to their data.
A couple of days ago, we learned that Docker is reconsidering its decision, and is no longer discontinuing its free team subscription.
In a blog post, they said they “made the wrong decision” and explained that “if you’re currently on the Free Team plan, you no longer have to migrate to another plan by April 14”. They also added that “customers who upgraded from a Free Team subscription to a paid subscription between the sunsetting announcement on March 14 and today’s announcement will automatically receive a full refund for the transaction in the next 30 days”.
