Vivaldi 6.5 update introduces Sessions Panel, Full History Sync, Workspace Rules, and more

Vivaldi has unveiled version 6.5 of its desktop and iOS web browser, introducing a plethora of new features. Among these are a sessions panel, synced open tabs, full history sync, workspace rules, enhanced notes, and more.

The sessions panel, a novel addition to the sidebar, allows users to manage saved sessions (collections of organized tabs). This panel provides the capability to view, reopen, and even edit your sessions.

The updated sync functionality, which is encrypted, now makes your entire browsing history accessible across all your devices. Synced tabs can be located and opened from the address field or windows panel on your current device, eliminating the need for manual searching.

Workspace rules, another new feature, automatically move tabs to a predefined workspace based on rulesets that are easy to configure. This means users no longer need to manually move and organize tabs into the desired workspace.

The built-in notes feature has also been improved with a new option that allows users to add more text to an existing note.

The iOS version of Vivaldi 6.5 comes with customizable features, including address and tab bars that can be positioned at the top or bottom, custom wallpapers, and full encrypted history sync.
