Google Chrome updates PWAs notification system in Canary and Dev channels

Google Chrome is currently updating its Progressive Web Apps (PWAs) notification system for users in the Canary and Dev channels. The new system replaces Google Chrome's name and logo with the web app's name and icon in the notifications.

The updated icons also display in the title bar, distinguishing them from the stable channel's behavior. The goal of this change is to ensure that notifications generated by web apps show the web app's app user model id (AUMI), replacing Chrome's branding with the web app's identity. Google is also testing new media controls and link captures for PWAs(https://alternativeto.net/software/microsoft-edge/about/ already does this btw).

For users on the Stable channel, the December 2023 update also includes improved security features such as running Safety Check in the background.
