Quora's AI chatbot platform, Poe, introduces voice input for interacting verbally
Quora's AI chatbot platform, Poe, has launched a voice input feature for Android users, akin to the voice-to-text functionality of the ChatGPT app. This feature, activated by pressing the microphone icon near the chat text box, transcribes spoken words into prompts for the chatbot, removing the need for typing.
In addition to today's announced feature, Poe has also been adding new and interesting features recently, such as allowing bot creators to integrate knowledge bases into their bots for a more personalized experience, improved answer accuracy, and unique knowledge offerings. These knowledge sources can be added via file upload or raw text input and can be used with any base LLM, including GPT-3.5, GPT-4, Claude Instant, Claude 2, or Llama 2.
Moreover, Poe has initiated a 'Creator monetization program' that enables bot creators to earn revenue through a share when a user subscribes to Poe due to their bot, or to set a per-message fee that Quora will pay for each message exchanged with their bot.
