Moodle Workplace 4.3 released with many new features for streamlined learning management

Moodle, the well-known online learning platform, has announced the release of Moodle Workplace 4.3, the latest update to its enterprise learning management solution. The update introduces an improved method for defining reporting structures, allowing Learning and Development (L&D) managers to manually assign managers to individuals. This new feature complements the existing system, providing a balance of flexibility and control.

The “People Management” feature in Moodle Workplace 4.3 offers an instant overview of staff and their roles, streamlining the management of reporting lines and job assignments. The update centralizes job-related data and reporting lines onto a single page, providing team leaders with a comprehensive view of their team's structure and performance.

Moodle Workplace 4.3 also introduces a tool that enables administrators and L&D managers to create custom pages within the platform and make them publicly accessible. The update also sees the implementation of automation in Learning Plans through Dynamic Rules, reflecting the platform's ongoing evolution.

The latest enhancements to Dynamic Rules allow administrators to automate actions based on specific course grades, ensuring that actions are accurately aligned with individual learning outcomes. The update also introduces new profile widgets for jobs and managers, improving transparency within organizations by clearly outlining roles and responsibilities.

Additional improvements in Moodle Workplace 4.3 include a CSV export function for Organization Structure, an audit trail for Dynamic Rules, and the option to set tenant admin permissions via the user upload tool.
