Latest Audacity 3.4 introduces new beats and measures grid, upgraded exporter, and more!

Audacity, the open-source audio editing software, has released its latest version, Audacity 3.4, featuring new tools such as a beats and measures grid, time stretching, and an upgraded exporter. The beats and measures grid enhances audio editing precision by aligning audio clips with the project's tempo and rhythm, while time stretching lets users alter the duration of audio clips without changing their pitch using a unique algorithm.

The new version also boasts a revamped exporter that consolidates all export options into a single window, including advanced settings for 5.1 exporting. It incorporates a native file browser for easy navigation to bookmarked folders directly from the software's interface.

These updates aim to improve user experience in music production and audio editing. Detailed updates can be found in the Audacity 3.4 changelog.

These features sound really cool!

Also, is Audacity still technically spyware or not anymore? I've been using DarkAudacity and Tenacity for audio recording and editing, so I haven't been keeping track.
