Home Assistant 2023.11 update brings improved to-do lists and Matter implementation v1.2

Home Assistant, the open-source home automation platform, has announced the release of its latest version, 2023.11. Prioritizing local control and privacy, Home Assistant has also successfully navigated two security audits in October.

The 2023.11 update brings several new features and improvements, including the integration of a “To-do lists” item in the sidebar. This modification merges the shopping lists with the to-do lists, unifying these similar features for streamlined use. Furthermore, users can now import their Todoist and Google Tasks to-do lists into Home Assistant, enhancing its functionality.

In terms of technical upgrades, Home Assistant's Matter implementation has been updated to version 1.2. The new version also allows users to customize the information displayed on their Tile cards and introduces new conditions for the conditional card. In addition, a safe mode restart option for Home Assistant has been added.

Beyond these enhancements, Home Assistant 2023.11 incorporates a variety of other changes, new features and integrations, and bug fixes, further enhancing the platform's robustness and user experience.
