Publishing platform Ghost unveils a faster and more robust editor with enhanced features

Ghost, the modern publishing platform, has unveiled a new editor, the third major iteration of its kind, which comes with an array of enhanced features. The revamped editor, as per Ghost's announcement, is designed to be “faster and more robust than ever before”.

The complete rewrite of the Ghost editor incorporates a built-in native image editor, enhanced post history, landing page cards, and bookmarking. The new editor also boasts faster overall performance, advanced handling of extensive posts, better undo/redo chaining, improved mobile editing, nested lists, and additional keyboard shortcuts.

The updated editor is now accessible across all Ghost installs. Ghost(Pro) users can sign into their sites to test the new features. Developers who are self-hosting Ghost need to upgrade to the latest version to avail of all the new updates.
