PeaZip 9.5 update brings performance enhancements and user experience improvements
PeaZip, the well-known file archiver utility, has rolled out version 9.5, introducing a host of updates primarily focused on performance enhancement and user experience improvements.
The updated version boasts improved performances, courtesy of its new memory management and task scheduler. The software's ability to utilize alias and binaries in system paths has also been enhanced, alongside the introduction of new batch command switches for archive creation.
A significant addition to the new version is the Fast archive browsing mode, designed for quicker access to archive files. The opening speed for large archives has also been fine-tuned across all browsing modes, ensuring a more efficient user experience.
Version 9.5 also brings enhancements to the file manager, with a new menu dedicated to swiftly changing ZIP filenames encoding. A new feature that allows the software to remember opened tabs and reopen the last closed tab has also been added, providing users with a more streamlined navigation experience.
Lastly, the main theme icons have been updated to display archive type extensions, making it easier for users to identify different archive types at a glance.
