Microsoft Edge is now showing a survey to users downloading Google Chrome

Microsoft Edge is now showing a survey to users attempting to download Google Chrome. This move adds to Microsoft's existing tactics of using ads, banners, and pop-ups to encourage users to retain Edge as their default browser.

The survey appears with a message stating, “We love having you! Can you please take a minute to tell us why you are trying another browser?” Users are then given options to select their reasons, which include common complaints about Edge, for downloading a different web browser.

This latest feedback request is seemingly less intrusive compared to other methods employed by Microsoft to persuade users to stick with Edge. It should be noted that this survey is currently in a testing phase, hence it is not visible to all users downloading Chrome.
