DALL-E 3, OpenAI's text-to-image AI model, officially launches in beta for ChatGPT Plus

About a month ago, OpenAI announced the release of the new version of its text-to-image AI model, DALL-E 3, with a planned rollout to ChatGPT Plus and Enterprise clients in October. This version has now been officially launched in its beta phase, with selected users able to access the model through ChatGPT on web and mobile platforms by choosing it from the dropdown menu in the GPT-4 option.

DALL-E 3 can generate images based on text descriptions, ranging from short sentences to detailed paragraphs. In the brief time it has been available, the new version of the image-creation tool has outstandingly demonstrated its superiority over DALL-E 2 by producing more precise images and better comprehending prompt nuances.

The model is also available for free in Microsoft Copilot, producing high-quality images with a focus on detail. The announcement additionally noted the return of the Browsing feature in ChatGPT, previously suspended due to misuse. Plus and Enterprise customers can now select the "Browse with Bing" option from the GPT-4 model selector without activating the beta option.
