Reddit teams up with GIPHY in order to add GIFs directly in comments
Reddit has announced that it is lifting the paywall behind using GIPHY to insert GIFs into posts and comments on participating subreddits.
The partnership between the social bookmarking giant and the image host enables participating subreddits to have GIFs embedded into posts and comments. Though this functionality was available previously, it was only enabled for paid power-up subscribers.
For new subreddits, this integration is enabled by default. Existing subreddits can have this functionality enabled by moderators. The functionality can also be disabled on any subreddit in its community settings.
GIF embedding in posts via GIPHY is now rolling out across Reddit for free.

Is there an Alt to SnapSeed?
Not really. There was
Litrato, and there are also
Sly and
QuickEdit, but they're very basic and can't do half of what Snapseed can. I personally still use Snapseed with network and all other permissions turned off.
I'd like to mention Codeberg as Github alternative and Framasoft or one of their sub-projects https://degooglisons-internet.org/en/ Nice list, thank you !
Is there any REAL alternative to Google Lens?
OsmAnd is not affiliated with OpenStreetMap. Also, I think Organic Maps is more free and open.
http://gigablast.com/ one of the oldest search engines in the USA, which has survived to the present day. Its distinctive feature is ignoring simple algorithms of the reference mass, and using only high-quality relevant resources to rank the output of reviews.
I would suggest
Odysee as an alternative to YouTube. It's definitely way better than Vimeo. Also it's open source.
Agreed! I've started updating the list because many stuff are out of date.
Kutt might also be something to consider as a URL shortener option.
