LogMeIn has rebranded as GoTo, with LastPass still planned to go independent
LogMeIn today announced and launched their new company brand: GoTo.
Announced via a post on the company's official blog, the shift from LogMeIn to GoTo was made "to reflect its deep dedication to making IT easy, anywhere." This shift does not apply to LastPass, which is still planned to completely separate from the company as its own independent venture.
In addition to the rebrand, GoTo is also offering a "simplified product portfolio" with one application that contains its two products: GoTo Resolve, an all-in-one IT management suite, and GoTo Connect, a virtual phone system scalable from small businesses to call centers.
Today also marked the launch of the GoTo Partner Network in order to help their partners market and attract customers. This includes GoTo investing in their marketing, integrations, and support for different types of partners (including managed service providers, resellers, and distributors).
Pricing for the new product lineup can be found on goto.com/plans. Plans vary from $22 per user per month to $44 per user per month depending on how much of the suite your business needs access to.
