Zoho makes Remotely team collaboration software free until July due to Coronavirus

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Zoho has shifted entirely to working remotely until the crisis has winded down globally. They've decided to make their entire remote working toolset free to use.

In a post on the official Zoho Blog, the company described how its over 8,000 employees are working from home until the COVID-19 pandemic is contained. As Zoho is one of several companies utilizing a similar approach to either mandating or heavily encouraging work from home in order to stem the spread of the pandemic, they wanted to offer the tools they will have for their employees to everyone. This means that the Zoho Remotely software suite will be available to use for free until July.

The Zoho Remotely suite includes Zoho Cliq for audio, text, and video chat, Zoho Meeting for web conferencing, Zoho WorkDrive for curating and maintaining remote collaborative team spaces, and more specialized solutions for a variety of professional needs. These tools can be used as alternatives to Slack, Microsoft Teams, Google Drive, Zoom, and other commonly used collaboration-focused software and services.
