Firefox adding notification for when users visit recently breached websites

As Firefox Monitor launches in 26 languages today, it also benefits the Firefox web browser with the addition of notifications about visiting sites that have been compromised.

Mozilla has announced that Firefox Quantum users will benefit from Firefox Monitor's launch with an implementation of notifications within the Mozilla Firefox web browser coming soon. These notifications will take advantage of Firefox Monitor's data concerning websites impacted by data breaches. When a user visits a website that was recently hacked, Firefox will notify that user about this fact in the address bar.

Mozilla Monitor can be accessed from any web browser at https://monitor.firefox.com/ with results based off of data from Have I Been Pwned.
