Genius and Spotify "Behind the Lyrics" now on Android

Spotify users with iOS devices have been privy to Genius-powered "Behind the Lyrics" playlists for over a year now. These special playlists deliver an entertaining mesh of lyrics, song facts and stories from artists and others as music plays. They've been met with great success on iOS and finally are being brought to Android.

The lyrics and music facts are provided by Genius - Song Lyrics & Knowledge which houses an extensive database of media information. These details are presented in time with musical queues, an experience delightfully reminiscent of TV music station VH1's Pop Up Videos. The feature is only currently available only on select tracks and playlists including with Behind the Lyrics: Hip Hop and Today’s Top Hits.
