For 3 years now, if not 4, Proton VPN has been a BUCKET OF NAILS rather than a lock-bypass program. Only VPN that is represented in this list and is really a worthy alternative is Windscribe. For some reason, there is no mention of the Swiss, Privado (thanks to which other VPNs are launched), there is no mention of the German, Steganos.

You can also choose Xeovo. Combine it with AmneziaVPN or AmneziaWG or simply use proxy with different obfuscation apps (see guide on their website for further information) and you'll get what you want. Plus they got services for P2P. Yes, they don't have their's own application but they provide you with enough options to handle Chinese, Russian and other countries where DPI is a real problem.
