Zzz is a custom power management utility for Windows that is designed to eclipse built-in power management systems. In other words, Zzz provides a more customizable experience for power management and offers more control than built-in power management for Windows PCs.
Features:
- Lives in the system tray and is unobtrusive to the user,
- Supports configuring click, double click actions on the system tray icon,
- Can lock, dim, shutdown, standby and hibernate a PC,
- Monitoring for "idle" detection can be configured by:
- Observing mouse movements,
- Observing keyboard key presses,
- Checking the proximity of a bluetooth-enabled device (ie: walk away from the computer and the screen can lock or the PC can hibernate),
- Checking for exiting windows on the desktop,
- Fully supports interracting with IoT devices via MQTT (Node-Red, etc),
